Pleasurethyme Farm is situated on 72 acres in the historic Shenandoah Mountains and is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Virginia. With our large driving facilities and barn, the farm is a wonderful place to experience our superb horsemanship and driving.

Pleasurethyme is home to the Rekow Driving horses, which include the finest Shires, Hackneys and Mini-Ponies.  We are also fortunate to be the North American home of legendary "North Star", driving instructor and trainer, Olaf Nyby.

Few people of any nationality can match Norwegian Olaf Nyby when it comes to experience in the driving world.  His repertoire includes pleasure driving, farm work and logging with horses, harness racing, commercial driving, and competitions with pairs and four-in-hands, driving for royalty and of course driver instruction.
